John Robert McPherson Jr.

He was a dedicated employee at USI for 45 years. John was an avid Nascar and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed playing pool and watching wrestling. John dearly loved spending time with his family.

John was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lester Nevels and Kenneth Nevels; daughter in law, Rhiannon Flener; and granddaughter, Ahnna McPherson.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Carnahan) McPherson; sister, Barbara Schwartz (Bill); brother, Terry McPherson (Wendy); daughters, Penny McPherson, Mary Thomas, and Tammy McPherson; sons, John Robert McPherson III (Jonie), Terry Flener, and Shawn McPherson, Sr. (Angel); as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday November 1, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Terry McPherson, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
