He was loved by many and passionate about his faith in Jesus Christ. Jerry’s testimony touched many lives. Even at the end, he was passionately sharing Jesus Christ to those he loved. He will be greatly missed!
Jerry and his family served as volunteers in Missions for Southern Baptist Convention over 25 years.
He loved his grandbabies, camping with his family, hunting and fishing.
Jerry leaves behind his wife Sue of 47 years; daughter, Salena Courtney, Brock Courtney; four grandchildren, Kayson, Kaleibrianna, Kash and Kiah.
He will be greatly missed by his brothers, Richard, Donald, Michael and Dale, and by his sisters, Sharon and Annette.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at The Bridge Church, 820 Mt. Pleasant Road, Evansville, IN 47711. Family and friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Evansville Rescue Mission and Borrowed Hearts Foundation.
