Jeannette Yvonne Smith

She enjoyed playing Bingo, collecting movies and reading her Bible. Jeannette loved family get-togethers and drinking coffee with her lifelong friend, Mavis Willis.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Bruce Smith Sr., Helen Fowler-Huff, Robert Smith, David D. Smith, Charlotte Jones, Norma R. Smith and Jesse R. Smith; and her parents.

She is survived by her daughters, Christi Shelton (James Bowling) and Misty McCormick (Nathan); grandchildren, James, Jessica and Draven Shelton, Caleb Hensley, Brendan and Kassidy McCormick, and Linzy Barre; sisters, Eleanore Baysinger, Diane Lynch (Richard II), Rebecca Bellinger (Steve) and Rhonda Sue Bowling (Joe Robinson); brothers, Joseph Smith (Patty), Leslie Smith Sr., William G. Smith and Thomas W. Smith (Deann); and may cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Alexander West Chapel. Friends may visit Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
