Janie M. (Bowen) Watson, 70, of Evansville passed away Monday February 6, 2023. She was born January 22, 1953 in Evansville to William and Alberta (Baehl) Bowen.
She was a selfless and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Janie was a registered nurse for over 40 years working at Welborn Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital. She loved reading and music. Janie was a gentle soul, but was never afraid to say what was on her mind.
Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Watson; and father, William Bowen.
She is survived by her mother, Alberta Bowen; brother, Bob Bowen; son; Paul Watson (Lori); daughter, Stephanie Spradling (Kyle); and grandson, Xavier.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday February 11, 2023 at Alexander North Chapel. Friends and family may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
