Jim retired after owning and operating Cameo Cleaners for 50 years.
He loved to spend time with his family, horse racing, and his cat “Baby.”
Jim will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, James “Hooky” Traylor; brother, Leroy Traylor; and parents, Richard and Rosetta Traylor.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Faye Dickson (J.W.); son, George “Doug” Traylor; sister, Mary Smythe (Bruce); brother, William Traylor; sister, Ailene Nelson; grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his long-time friend, Susie Paxton.
Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Luke Smith, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alexander West Chapel to help with expenses.
