James Lawrence Nugent III

Jim was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville on April 21, 1947. He attended Evansville Day School, Taft Preparatory School, Menlo College, and studied architecture at Arizona State University. Jim worked for a local architectural firm, spent time in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, California eventually returning to Evansville.

Jim is survived by his sisters; Nevitt (Jim) Jenkins, Ginger Nugent, Timberly (Greg) Dunn, and brother John (Alice) Nugent; nieces and nephews, Coral (Mark) Norris, Millicent Jenkins, Jasmine (Steve) Neske, Gus Jenkins, JP Nugent, Elizabeth Nugent, Trevor Nugent and great niece and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Nugent Jr. and Virginia Nugent. At Jim’s request, there will be no funeral services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the following institution: Reitz Home, Mesker Park Zoo and Botanical Gardens or Evansville Museum.
