James was a truck driver for Walt’s for over 40 years. Sunday morning breakfast was very important to him at the Merry Go Round and Cross-Eyed Cricket. He was a member of Full Gospel Mission.
He is survived by his son, Lilburn “Butch” Sallee (Susie); daughter, Denise Richardson (Michael); son, Donald Sallee (Maggie); daughter, Tracy Dale (Randy) all of Evansville; grandchildren, Curtis, Joshua, and Amanda Sallee, Jessica, Jonathon, Jennifer, Erica, MaKiah, and Alayna Richardson, William Sallee, Bill Chastain, Ashley and Andrew Dale, Krystal Hall, and Nikki VanBibber; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Becky McAtte and Jean McBride; and his dog and best friend, Chomper.
Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor John Eaton with burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
