Jacob Joe Carter

Jacob Joe Carter, 25, of Chandler, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Jacob was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 29, 1992 to Jeremy and Amy (Adamson) Mohr. Jacob enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on vehicles and was an avid Steelers fan. He deeply loved his children. Jacob will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Jacob is survived by his wife, Kierstin Carter of Chandler, IN; son, Kaison James Carter of Chandler, IN; daughter, Lily Grace Carter of Chandler, IN; step-son, Jonah Darby; mother, Amy (Adamson) Mohr (John); father, Jeremy Carter (Nicole) of Terre Haute, IN; siblings, Lauren Swain (Zach) of San Diego, CA; Nick Mohr (Amanda) of Newburgh, IN; Mason Carter of Terre Haute, IN, and Reese Carter of Terre Haute, IN; a niece Alaina Mohr; grandparents, Barbara Adamson of Evansville, IN, Bob Carter (Debbie) of Evansville, IN, Tom Adamson (Belinda) of Evansville, IN, Don Mohr (Carol) of Chandler, IN, and Josh Nicoson (Susan) of Terre Haute, IN. A celebration of Jacob's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday.
