Jack R. Davis, 84, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at his home. He was born December 30, 1937, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late George F. and Ruby M. (McGee) Davis.
Jack served five years Apprenticeship with Industrial Contractors. He was a member of Union Electrician Local 16 and Union Plumber Local 136. He owned and operated his own business for 20 years Jack Davis Plumbing Service retiring at the age of 40. He was President of Summit Corporation land developers and home builders. He served eight years in the US Naval Reserves. Jack was a member of Fairlawn Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his family, especially at their family home at Lake Barkley. He loved fishing, gambling, and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma J. Davis in 2014.
Jack is survived by his daughters, Lorrie Brackett, Jackie Davis and Jennifer
Skinner (David); grandchildren, Brooke Kruckenberg (Chris), Ryan Baker (Mallory), Andrew Brackett (Jordyn), Bryce Brackett (Kara), Megan Smith (Brandon), Kathleen Royster (Shawn Rust), Jack Skinner, Ali Skinner and Susan Skinner; 18 great grandchildren plus one on the way.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, officiated by Rev. Thomas Hubachek, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct full military rites. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
