Irvin Wayne Cox Sr.
January 24, 1954 – December 24, 2017
IN THE CARE OF
Irvin Wayne Cox, Sr., 63, of Lynnville, passed away December 17, 2017 at his home. He was born January 24, 1954 in Evansville to the late Kenneth and Kathryn (Downs) Cox.
He worked most of his life as an auto mechanic. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a simple man who lived a simple life.
Irvin is survived by children, Tammy (T.J.) Tanner, Irvin “Wayne” Cox, Jr., Christy (James) Drake and Brian (Amanda) Cox; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth (Karen) and Roger Cox; sisters, Becky Fredrick and Phyllis Prideaux, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be 12:00 to 2:00PM, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street.
