Irene was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She volunteered for the food pantry, clothing bank and was a member of the 4H Homemaker Extension. Irene was a seamstress and a great quilter.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, George Dunn; son, Garrett R. Dunn; brother, Earl Blades.
She is survived by her son, Larral (Ginnie) Dunn of Evansville, IN; grandsons, Trevor Dunn of Evansville, IN and Jeff (Carolyn) Dunn of Indianapolis, IN; sisters, Georgia (Ralph) Schneider of AZ and Angelene Alvarez of CO; nieces, nephews, cousins and caregiver, Sharon Dunn.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ray Deeter with burial to follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
