Herbert (Herb) “Junie” Elder, 78 of Evansville, IN passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020. He was born on September 1, 1941.

Herbert was a proud retired Sheet Metal Worker Local 20. He was a member of Howell General Baptist Church. He loved fishing, the outdoors and was an avid Gardner. He was a very giving person, together with his wife they volunteered at SWIRCA for 12 years.

He was preceded in death by four brothers; one sister and a daughter Tonya.

Herbert is survived by his wife Vivian; sons, Michael, David, Christopher and Justin; daughter, Pam; sister, Sharron; brother, Glen; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin. Friends may visit 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
