

Hannah R. Persinger, 87, went on so gracefully Wednesday, May 21, 2014at 7:20 PM at Bethel Manor. With her whole family by her side, she will now be with her lifelong friend, love, and husband of 65 years.
Hannah was born in Beech Creek, KY and attended Beech Creek School. After moving to Boonville, she worked in the underwear factory, where she met Jimmy. Later, she moved to Evansville where she worked and retired from Bernardin's. She attended Washington Avenue Church of Christ.
She loved traveling with Jimmy and their six granddaughters on vacation, and wrote about everything they did. She loved spending time with her great and great-great-grandchildren. These kids would make her eyes just light up always!
She was preceded in death by her son, James Michael Persinger, and her husband, James W. Persinger.
Hannah is survived by daughters, Phyllis Hatfield and Marjorie (Frank) Bruce; son, Bill (Wendy) Persinger; grandchildren, Chrissie, Lisa, Susie, Angie, Brent, Brandon, William, Penny, Margie, and Frank; and great-grandchildren, Jessica, Mickey, Shelby, Alex, Zac, Aubrie, Damien, Braylan, Kyle, Kelly, Elizabeth, Wesley, Jamie, Shania, Ayden, and Savannah; great-great-grandchildren, Titus and Lida,.
Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Alexander North Chapel with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
