He graduated from the University of Evansville with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts. Gary was a devoted father who always supported his sons in all of their activities, and he adored being a grandad. He was an avid outdoorsman when he was younger, and was employed as Vice President of Sales for Hoosier Wheel.
Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Betty F. Gann; and brother, Philip E. Gann.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Anitra (Toral) Gann; sons, Michael Gann and Seth Gann (Melody); grandchildren, Charis Gann, Shelby Gann, and Chase Gann; father, William Gann; and sister-in-law, Kim Steinbock.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday June 5, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church Darmstadt, officiated by Pastor Keith Knea, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday June 4, 2023 at Alexander North Chapel and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Monday June 5, 2023 at the church.
