Edna Wanda Lee Johnston, 90 of Spring Hill, Florida, and formerly of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at home. She was born January 20, 1930 to William Kenneth and Selma J. Feagley in Chandler, Indiana.
Wanda was a member of Bible Center Cathedral in Evansville and of New Beginnings Life Center in Spring Hill, Florida. She was married to Bobby Clyde Johnston on December 12, 1946 at Bethlehem UCC on Oak Hill Road in Evansville. Clyde and Wanda were married for 58 years, had seven children, and owned several businesses.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sibling, and two children- Michael Clyde Johnston and Beverly Ann Wiley of Evansville.
Wanda is survived by her children, James K. (Jacqueline) Johnston, Randall (Sheril) Johnston, daughter-in-law, Paula Johnston, son-in-law, Charles Wiley of Evansville, IN; Rebecca Jackson of Las Vegas, NV; Brenda K. Johnston and Vicki Johnston of Spring Hill, FL; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Isaac Carl Eugene (Deloris) Feagley of Evansville, IN.
Her family celebrates and gives thanks to God for the gift of her life. She will always be lovingly remembered for her faith, hospitality, and adventurous spirit.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Rick VanHoose, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery, laid to rest next to her late husband. Friends may visit Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
