He retired from Bristol Myers in 1986 after 40 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Edgar belonged to the VFW and Helfrich Golf Club. He loved the game of golf. Edgar earned dozens of championship titles, including the Evansville City Golf Tournament six times. He also enjoyed playing cards, dancing and working in his yard.
Edgar was preceded in death by brothers, Jim Wolf, Sr. (Patricia) and Harold Wolf.
He is survived by his daughters, Cydney Dugger (Dwayne), Natalie Wolf; grandchildren, Garrett Dugger (Emma), April Dugger; great-grandson, Aiden Dugger; niece and nephew, Jennifer Wolf and Jim Wolf; and special friend, Loretta Niemeier.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 3-7 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
