Dorothy M. Ricketts

Dorothy retired from Don’s Cleaners, after 30 years.

She loved to read, work crossword puzzles, and spend time with her family.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Don Ricketts; parents, Ray and Ursula (Huebner) Unferferth; sister, Allie Unferferth; brother David Unferferth; and grandson, Larry Dale Cumbee.

She is survived by son, Scott Leslie of Winslow, with whom she lived; daughter, Libby (Scott) Willis of Petersburg; Kathie Cumbee of Evansville; stepchildren, Georganne Schulze of AL, Donnie Ricketts of Evansville; grandchildren, Andrea (Kevin) Moss of Petersburg, Joe Leslie of Winslow, James Leslie, Vic (Lori) Cumbee of Evansville, Mischelle (Jason) Downen of Chandler; step grandchildren, Amanda (Ken) Moore, Jamie and Jason Schulze of AL, Cory and Chris Ricketts of Evansville; nine great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Kevin D. Reed, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
