Doris J. Parks

Doris J. (McCoy) Parks, 83, of Evansville passed away Saturday April 9, 2022. She was born October 24, 1938 in Spencer County to the late Virgil and Mayme (Cohoon) McCoy. She was a friend to everyone at North Park Nursing Home and was fondly known as the Resident Council President. She was a kind, sweet soul who looked after everyone around her. Doris loved to help in activities at North Park. She enjoyed baking and often delivered treats to residents who were bed-bound. She enjoyed celebrating holidays and birthdays, and was an Elvis Presley fan. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Parks; dear friend, Betty Brasel and friend and roommate, Florence. Doris is survived by many friends who will miss her greatly. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 16, 2022 at Alexander North Chapel.
