Donald Lee Wade

He retired as an ophthalmology technician with Talley Eye Institute where he had worked for 20 years and was loved by the entire staff and their patients. Donald was an accomplished organist and musician, serving for over 35 years in Vincennes, Evansville, and Petersburg. He was a member of the singing group, Masters Quartet. His hobbies included family, music, gardening, and he spoke fluent French and Hebrew.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Patty Wade; Connie Wade; and son, Michael Baruch Wade.

He is survived by his loving wife Becky Wade; daughters, Kyla Wade (Wally Fadare) and Leslie “Lee” Davis (Evan); grandchildren, Kristopher Davis, Anessa Davis (Ian Roeder), Kristine Davis (Chris Boeglen), Keeley Wade, Je’da Davis, Ivy Wade, Evan Davis II, Nadia Stewart, and Leon Stewart; great-grandchildren, Everette Davis, Freyja Roeder, and soon to arrive, Baby Roeder; sisters, Karen Sue Wade and MaryAnn Wilson; nephews, Daniel Wilson and Michael Wilson; and fur baby, Laddy.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel with Pastor Tom Hubachek officiating. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
