He had great faith in the Lord and was a member of the Full Gospel Mission Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, grandfather, brother and uncle. Donald served his country for 22 years, serving in the Navy and the Army. He retired from Faultless Caster, loved NASCAR, I.U. Basketball, Colts Football, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Temme; daughters, Barbara Mackey, Penny (Temme) Young and Patricia Temme; granddaughter, Kayla Young; sisters, Beverly Eljean Spencer and Betty Miller Alvey; and brother, Larry Temme.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Temme Gray (Edward); son, Mark Temme (Carol); son-in-law, Keith Mackey; 19 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Glen Flowers, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM untol service time at the funeral home.
