Dolores was a loving homemaker, raising four children with the help of her husband Richard, who passed in 2016. Dolores was a Reitz high-school graduate (1953), a part-time retail sales clerk, having worked at Ayr-Way and Hills, and a life-long member of Harwood Baptist Church.
She lived a humble life, dedicating herself in service of all of those around her. She truly loved her friends and family. Whether it was spending summer mornings watching The Andy Griffith Show together, or letting the young kids have the run of the backyard, her door was always open to anyone in need. The grandchildren could always count on a fresh box of Oatmeal Cream Pies waiting for them in the kitchen. Many fond memories were had with family and neighbors being brought together around her house.
In addition to her husband, Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Ottis and Elsie Norrick; brothers, Otis Jr., Harold, Lester, Jimmy and Wayne; sister, Virginia Moore and daughter-in-law, Terry Adams.
She is survived by her four children; Ronald Adams, Randall Adams, Daniel Adams (Holly) and Brian Adams; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Waters, Rose Bell and Shelba Bell; sister-in-law, Esther Norrick; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
