Diana was a proud graduate of North High School, class of 1965. She had a strong interest in ancient Egypt and enjoyed watching documentaries and collecting items related to that topic. Diana liked listening to music from the 60’s and 70’s and watching auto racing. She worked at USI in the Counseling Center where she especially liked working with the students.
Diana was preceded in death by her father, Manson George “Butch” Johnson; mother, Delores “Dody” Mueller; brother, Jimmy Johnson; and former husband, Patrick Rumsey.
She is survived by sons, Shawn Rumsey (Stacy), Shane Rumsey of Denver; grandchildren, Spencer, Riley and Logan Rumsey; great-grandchildren, Embry and Fox Rumsey; brother, Manson Scott Johnson.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel and officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin. Burial will follow in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel and 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday.
