Diana Rae Myers

Diana Rae (Trainer) Myers, 84, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, at her home. She was born April 7, 1937, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Frank H. and Blanche L. (Dilley) Trainer. Diana was a 1956 graduate of Reitz High School. She attended Simpson United Methodist Church. Diana retired from the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation in 2007, after 20 years of service. She loved traveling, camping, gardening and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Donald E. Myers, Sr. Diana is survived by daughters, Cheryl Ellerbrook and Lori Ellerbrook; son Donald E. Myers, Jr.; daughter, Sabrina Myers (Michael Overton); grandchildren Megan Glenn, Joshua Glenn, Zachary Myers, Casey Myers, and Travis Myers; brother, Dr. Thomas Trainer (Jenny); great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Kenny Armitage, with entombment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
