Deborah Sue Carter

Debbie was of Christian faith. She graduated from Central High School in 1967 and graduated from Tri-State Beauty College. Over her 49 years as a hairdresser, Debbie made many close and lasting friendships with her many customers and the people she worked with. The “girls” at hair Street Station were her second family. She cherished spending time with her family. Debbie was devoted to her grandchildren and was a kind and generous person who always put others before herself. She loved us all unconditionally. She will be missed!

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Raeanne Williams.

Debbie is survived by her best friend, hero and father of her children, Danny Carter; children, Crista Dyanne Schmidt (Eric), Jenny Rebecca Bland; grandchildren, Lexi Taylor Carter, and Jayce Thomas Pfister; sister, Rhonda Kissinger (Gary); and brother, Stan Hart (Paulette). Debbie was like a mother to Danny’s son, Ashton and had always loved and cared dearly for Danny’s daughter, Sarah. Debbie is also survived by Vicki Campbell, a lifelong best friend that was like a sister.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 3, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jeff Long, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
