David "Buck" Stone

David W. "Buck" Stone, age 70 passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was born on November 4, 1952 in Evansville, IN to the late Charles Lindberg and Betty Lou (Goodge) Stone. Buck graduated from North Knox High School in 1970, and then went into the military. He served for 20 years in the US Army and several years in the Marines. Buck was a hard worker in construction industry and retired in 2020. He loved classic cars and doing mechanic work. He is survived by a daughter, Nicole "Nikki" Mitchell; brother, Steve (Chun) Stone; nephews, Christopher, Shawn, Patrick Stone; half-sister, Lawanna Rafferty; half-brother, Jonny Stone; many cousins and extended family members; and good friends. A visitation for Buck will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Alexander Funeral Home-East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, Indiana 47714. A funeral service will follow the visitation at noon. A final resting place will occur Friday, September 22, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 1400 East Virginia Street, Evansville, Indiana 47711.
