Cynthia S Brown, lovingly known as "Susie", "Q", passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 62. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Susie leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion.
Throughout her life, Susie found joy in her roles as a mother to her three daughters, La'Donna and La'Shawna Collins, and De'Shawna Brown, as well as her three adored grandchildren, Sirr Ward, Tristian Thames, and Major Brown. She took immense pride in their accomplishments and never missed an opportunity to brag about them.
Susie was known for her unwavering work ethic and dedication. She loved her job and approached every task with enthusiasm and determination. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball and was a force to be reckoned with on the field.
To those who knew her best, Susie was more than a mother; she was a best friend and a rock. Her easy-going nature, coupled with her independent spirit, made her a beloved figure in the lives of many. She had a remarkable ability to find the right words, even in the most challenging situations, and was always there to offer guidance and support.
Susie had a generous soul and would give the clothes off her back to help those in need. She was a problem-solver, and her loved ones often sought her out for advice and assistance. Despite her kind nature, she was not one to mince words, and those who crossed her knew that she would not hesitate to speak her mind.
She cherished her relationships with her siblings and valued the bond they shared. Susie's presence brought light and laughter wherever she went, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In honoring Susie's memory, let us celebrate the remarkable woman she was and strive to embody the same strength, kindness, and resilience that she exemplified throughout her life. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.
