Charles Joyce Jr., 78, of Evansville, passed away Sunday May 29, 2022. He was born December 25, 1943 in Providence, KY to the late Charles and O’Harel (Hall) Joyce.

He enjoyed fishing and listening to blues music. Charles had an affinity for Lincoln cars and loved cooking for his friends and family.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Joyce and daughter, Sonya Lester.

He is survived by his sons, Tracy Joyce (Jeanette Johnson) and Terry Lester (Sherry); daughters, Stacy Morris (Johnny) and Sherry Smith; grandchildren, Darrin Morris, Jeremy Hurst, DeAndria Powell, Markita Farmer, Korey Lester, Brittany Lester, and Marika Lester; as well as several brothers, sisters, and great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 4, 2022 at Alexander East Chapel, with Pastor Geno Merriweather officiating. Burial will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m until service time at the funeral home.
