Carolyn S. Terrell, 74, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017, at her home. She was born September 16, 1942 in Princeton, to the late Leslie and Virginia (Smith) Perry. She was a 2-time breast cancer survivor who finally lost her battle with small cell lung cancer.
She retired from American General in 2009 after 25 plus years of service. Carolyn loved to read, crochet, bowl, play bunko and to travel. She was a very loving and compassionate soul. She touched many lives and always put her family first. She will be greatly miss by all who knew her.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Perry; sisters, Nancy and Julie, and granddaughter, Heather.
She is survived by daughters, Robin (Don) Brown, Cathy (Mark) Groves, Mary Dodson and Kim Glover; son, Randy (Teresa)Terrell; sisters, Sharon Littell and Sue Randolph; brothers, Mike, Marty and Rick Coin; grandchildren, Donnie, Joshua, Kenney Jr., Adam, Miranda, Daniel, Justin, Jeremy, Nichole, Taylor and Madison, she was lovingly known as “VoVo” to her 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:00PM, Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit, 3:00PM to 8:00PM, Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at the funeral home.
