Carolyn J. Benedict, 73, of Evansville, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, at Good Samaritan Home. She was born January 25, 1941, in Evansville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Emma (Young) Wegner; and her husband, Gerald Benedict.
Carolyn is survived by sons, Jerry (Gloria), Rodger (Jessica), and Jason (Elena) Benedict; daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Huston; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Kimberly Wolfe and Jeanie Damron.
Services will be 12:00 PM Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Fr. Paul Ferguson, with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
