Carl Wayne Guess

He retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 30 years. Carl was a very active member of Suwanee Furnace Baptist Church in Kuttuwa, KY and Twin Lakes Worship Center in Benton, KY. He was a member of Rizpah Shriners in Madisonville, KY where he enjoyed driving children to various hospitals for treatment. Carl was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 64 years, Ramona; grandson, Thomas Guess; and his brother, Raymond Guess.

He is survived by his sons, Ron Guess (Kathy), Kelly Guess (Debbie), and Joe Guess; former daughters-in-law, Connie Fleck and Leah Guess; grandchildren, Tim Guess (Erin), Nick Guess, Chris Guess (Brandie), Mike Guess, and Matt Guess; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Guess, Charlie Guess (Shirley), and Bobby Guess (Betty); sister, Ineil P’poole; his sister-in-law, Dena Guess; and his Yorkie, Isabel.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Alexander East Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Short officiating. His wish was to be cremated. He will be entombed at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
