Brent enjoyed spending time with family and traveling to Amelia Island, FL. He loved Purdue football and basketball. Brent graduated from Reitz High School in 1979 and Purdue in 1987. He practiced veterinary medicine on the Westside of Evansville at Vetview West. He proudly served as the veterinarian for the Evansville Police Department K-9 Unit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Branson.
Brent is survived by his loving wife of 32, years, Lynda Branson; daughters, Jennifer Embry (David), Melissa Brugger (Jay Grayson); son, John Crane (Kari); grandchildren, Kassie Wiley (Alex), Kyle Embry, Madison Crane, Kynzie Embry, Jordan Crane, Cody Crane; brothers, Robert Branson (Chris), and Brian Branson (Mary).
A special thanks to Dr. Christopher Braden, Dr. Corazan Hazlett, Dr. Juan Cabrera and Heart to Heart Hospice for their support and care.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Mike Stoelting. Friends may visit 2:00 -7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the funeral home.
