Brenda Montgomery, 56 years old, of Evansville, formerly from Oquawka, IL, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2019. She was born August 17, 1963 to John Yancey and Karen (Franklin) Eberts.
She graduated from SCC in West Burlington, IA in 2002 with a degree in medical coding and billing. She loved many and was loved by many. Brenda was an avid Colts fan. The loves of her life were her two boys and four granddaughters and her faithful companion, Gracie-May.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father and mother, and grandparents.
She is survived by sons, David Montgomery III (Sam) of Evansville and Andrew Montgomery (Kennah) of Owensboro; her beautiful granddaughters, Katie Robison, Destiny Montgomery, Dotti-May Montgomery and Aurora Lisembee; sister, Penny Link of Oquawka, IL; brothers, John Yancey (Christina) of Paris, IL and Bryan Eberts (Anita) of Carlsbad, NM; Nicole Lisembee, who she called her adopted daughter, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by her brother, Bryan Eberts. Friends may visit Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
