Barbara J. Morehead, 53, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020. She was born May 28, 1966 in Evansville, to the late Bob and Donna (Schoenbaechler) Williams.

She worked at several EVSC schools for over 30 years, most recently as a cafeteria manager. Barbara enjoyed softball and bowling. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Sue Wilson, and brother, Douglas Wayne Williams.

She is survived by husband, Steven D. Morehead; sons, Chad Schmitt (Abby) and Corey Schmitt (Breah); daughters, Lindsey Morehead (Jeff) and Jamie Morehead (Drew); sister, Leanna Smith; brother, Marty Smith (Kim); grandchildren, Taylor, Blake, Emma, Sutton and Charlotte, and many cousins.

A Memorial Service will be 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Jim Stutteville. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
