August Paul Norris

He served in the US Navy from 1951-1953 on the USS Walker DDE 517. Paul had been a sheet metal worker and had been an active member of Hillview Baptist Church. He had served as treasurer, secretary and general jack of all trades. He was a strong loving and wise husband, dad, papa, and great papa.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna Norris; his wife of 68 years and still going strong on a hayride in heaven, Laura Norris; daughters, Roxann Cornelson and Robin Norris; grandson, Skot Wright; Great grandchild, Kainnon Reavis; five brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his son, Eagle Norris (Ruby); daughter, Tracey Reavis (Bear); grandchildren, Tammy Tesdahl, Charlotte Kilcrease (Brad), David Cornelson “D.P.” (Misty), Kenny Cornelson (Chrystal), B.J. Reavis; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Steven Phipps with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
