Ashley was a joyous child who loved animals and attended zoo camp many years. Her creativity was shown through painting, drawing, writing and crafts. She was giving to all her friends from early on. Later in life, she loved music, reading and knitting. She dreamed of becoming a writer and living abroad.
Ashley graduated from F. J. Reitz High School and attended Ivy Tech. For a short time, she worked with her mom in Mary Kay. She was a member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her step-dad, Wesley “Cabot” Phillips and maternal great-grandpa, Earl R. Kramer.
Ashley is survived by her daughter, Lillian Ashley Phillips Kasmer; mom, Desiree` Woodley-Eichenberger (John); grandma, Sharon Woodley; great-grandma, Lucille Kramer; uncle, Duane Woodley (Tracy); aunt, Daphne Ridgway (Tony); cousins, Randy Poodry, Brandon Woodley, Serenity Poodry all of Evansville, IN; grandpa, Frank Woodley (Donna), Kissimmee, FL; dad, Jim Brown (Kathy), Petersburg, IN; grandparents, Jim & Jenny Wolfe; step-brother, Donald and many aunts, uncles & cousins.
Services will be 6:00 PM, Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jeff Pinney. Friends may visit Saturday, from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at the funeral home.
In memory of Ashley, the family wishes all contributions be made to the Lillian Ashley Benefit Fund at Old National Bank in lieu of flowers, mementos, etc.
Ashley’s dreams will not be realized on this Earth, but hopefully she is resting in the arms of Jesus.
