illness. He was born in Virginia, MN to the late Anthony T. and Mary (Pavlich) Inzerello. He
grew up in Mount Prospect, IL.
Tony graduated from the University of Evansville in 1967 and received his Master’s of Science
Degree from Indiana University in 1970. Tony dedicated his life to education. Beginning his
teaching career in North Spencer and Mount Vernon, Tony found his home at Castle High
School. Originally teaching and coaching football and wrestling from 1970-1976, Tony served
as Assistant Principal from 1976-1985 and as Athletic Director from 1976-1993. He culminated
his career back in the classroom and retired in 2007.
Tony is survived by his wife of 54 years, Deane (Berry); son, Dr. Anthony Inzerello, III (Jennifer)
of Newburgh; daughter, Dr. Leia Paul (Brian) of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, Jillian Inzerello,
Zachary Inzerello, Ella Paul, and Nathan Paul; sisters, Mary Lee Noonan (Jerry), Angela Fitch
(Mike), and Adeline Miller (Doug); brothers, Allan Inzerello (Linda), Mark Inzerello (Karen), and
Christopher Inzerello (Teresa); and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Cary Inzerello (Linda).
A lifelong Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame fan, Tony was an avid collector of baseball caps and
t-shirts. But more than anything else, he loved his family. He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the Warrick County Humane Society or
the Castle Senior Scholarship Fund.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Alexander East Chapel 2115 Lincoln Ave. Evansville, IN 47714.
