Anna Jewel Burchett

Anna gave her life for her husband and kids. She was a domestic engineer, made desserts and homemade biscuits daily. She took great pride every day in cooking and waiting and taking care of people. She loved the Lord, read the Bible every day and lived by it.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Burchett in November, 1992; and daughter Sue Brown.

Anna is survived by daughters, Doris Appell (Thomas), Joyce Johnson and Brenda Krug (Donald) all of Evansville; sons, Steve Burchett (Glenda) of Elberfeld, Darrell Burchett (Teresa) of Wadesville, and Dennis Burchett (Kathy) of Wadesville; 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; brother, Eugene England (Mary Helen) of TN; and sister, Nelline Baldwin of Adairville, KY.

Funeral services will be held 12:00-Noon Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Mark Lowe, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
