Alice Jeanette Brown

She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ on Michigan Street and the Michigan Hill Group. She was a Sunshine Lady at the Northside AARP. She enjoyed watching nature in her back yard and genealogy work. She loved her dog Schnoozer Von Braun.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Lynn who was a twin of Janet’s.

Alice is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harry M. Brown of Evansville; daughters, Janet Brown of Evansville, Jane Smith (Jerry) of Lakeland, FL; 2 grandsons, Matthew Gossman (Melissa), Grand Rapids, MI, Eric Gossman (Rema) Vancouver, Washington; 3 great-grandchildren, Olivia & Owen Gossman, Grand Rapids, MI, Marcie Gossman, Vancouver, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Lynn Marino. Friends may visit Friday, January 25, 2013 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 2227 W. Michigan Street, Evansville, IN 47712.
