Agnes C. Mann

Agnes graduated from Central High School in 1944. She had been employed by Whirlpool for 10 years, Columbia Shopping Center for 20 years, and American Legion Funkhouser Post as the manager for 12 years until her retirement. She had also worked at Bocklemans and St. Joe Mini Mart.

She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and the West Side AARP. Agnes had been a precinct Committee Person from 1964-2001.

Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 1987; brother, Bernard Schaefer; sister, Francis Rogers; and sister-in-law, Vernita Mann.

She is survived by her sons, Duane Mann (Karen) and Gary Mann (Deanna); grandson, Derek Mann; sister, Joan Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Pine Haven and Deaconess Hospice for their care of Agnes.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 23, 2010, at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel with burial to follow. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel.
