Abigail R. Miller

She and her husband graduated from Reitz High School where they were high school sweethearts. She was the oldest living member of Concordia Lutheran Church, (73 years) and was a member of the Women’s Guild. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen , known today as the UTU.

She was a loving mother and was devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, enjoyed camping, hosting dinners at her home, and was a warrior of life.

Abigail was preceded in death by her husband, who retired from L & N Railroad, Eugene K. Miller in 2012; sons, Lloyd Edward Miller and Darrell Eugene Miller, and sister, Mary Irma Bailey.

She is survived by daughter, Carol Miller; grandchildren, James Eugene Miller, Drew Kirschbaum, David Michael Miller, Jeremy Glenn Miller, Victoria Mohr (John), Haley Nicole Miller and Bryce Alan Miller (Rachel); great-grandchildren, Austin Mohr and Aiden Mohr; daughter-in-law, Laurel Miller, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 2451 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. David Wiist, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 4:00 to 8:00PM, Friday, June 3, 2016 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road and Saturday from 8:00AM to service time at the church.
