Tim was born April 28, 1972 in Garberville, California. Son of Charles and Delores (Dee) Neher. Raised in McKinleyville, he graduated from McKinleyville High School in 1990. At 16 Tim started working part-time at Village Pantry, McKinleyville, and worked up to be manager. There he met and married Diana Rice. On April 7, 1993, their love gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Jazmn Louise Neher. Tim later decided to change his occupation and become a truck driver. He attended C.R. Truck Driving Training; and after graduating became a long-distance truck driver. He drove for some years until at the beginning of 2008 he was involved in an accident which caused an injury to his back. He was put on disability for that injury. He was looking forward to soon returning to work at the time of his death. He is survived by his daughter, Jazmn Neher, who resides in Redding, CA; his parents Charles and Delores (Dee) Neher of Fortuna, CA; sister Christine Lopez (John) of McKinleyville; brother Richard Neher (Carrie) of Auburn, WA. Tim's sister Darlene Neher preceded him in death in July 2010. Tim is also survived by nieces and nephews: Sarah, Amy and John Lopez; Amber and Ryan McLaughlin; Colby and Conner Neher. Many other friends and relatives were part of Tim's life; Aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Tim loved his motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson. He was an expert in the maintenance of the cycles and his vehicles. It was amazing to see him take apart a motorcycle and have it back together, running smoothly, in a short time. Besides the vehicles, Tim enjoyed fishing. He boasted about knowing spots where he could go and be able to just reach in the water and lift out fish. Besides talking about his motorcycles, vehicles, and fish, Tim Especially bragged about his daughter, Jazmn. He loved to visit and spend time with her. She was the special highlight of his life. We will miss you, Tim. Our good memories of you, your laughter and smiles, your hugs, will never pass away. We thank God for the time shared with you, but wish you could have stayed with us longer.
