Javier G. Nunez

Javier was a wonderful son, husband, father, brother and friend. He loved music and enjoyed watching classic movies and playing solitaire.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Francisco S. Nunez; grandmother, Julia Miramontes; Grandfathers Santos Gonzalez and Transito Nunez; and Grandmother, Maria Sandoval.

Javier is survived by his loving wife, Genoveva Sandoval of Nunez; son Jesus J. Nunez Sandoval; mother, Adelina Gonzalez; sisters Celia Nunez Romero, Gloria Nunez Herrera, and Irma Nunez Herrera; nieces Neomi Romero Nunez, Valeria Herrera Nunez; nephew Luis Francisco Herrera Nunez; special friend Ernie Fritz and numerous wonderful, beautiful friends that always made Javier's life easier.

There will be a viewing at Pierce Mortuary, 707 H Street, Eureka, CA 707-442-3751 on Friday, November 4, 2011, from 4:00-7:00 pm. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm. The following day, Saturday, November 5, 2011, a Mass will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 6th & H, Eureka, CA at 9:30 am. Fathers Eric Freed and Ifmael Mora will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy in Javier's name.
