Ted lost his long-time battle with cancer in the early morning of January 16, 2021 and went to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Leo Morrow.
He is survived by his longtime companion of 31 years, Maria Diliberti. In addition, he leaves behind: brother, Bobby Morrow, his sister, Earlyne Morrow Angerstein, beloved children, Dusty Morrow (Michelle), Misty Tyler and Therese Diliberti, his four grandchildren, Tripp (12), Trent (13), Sydney (20) and Kayla (28), as well as friends and family in Texas, Virginia, California and Louisiana.
He grew up in Galveston, Texas; graduated from Ball High School, and attended Durham Electronics College in Houston, Texas. He served in the Navy for 11 years on the ballistic missile submarines, USS Carbonero and USS Sam Rayburn.
Ted was a loving father and friend to so many and loved his family. He loved football and golf and enjoyed surfing, karate, boxing, baseball and diving at a young age. He was an entertainer at heart. In his early years, he was a comedy diver with dolphins at Sea-Arama and had great talent for training dolphins. Ted was a motivational speaker and taught many. His favorite saying was "If it's to be, it's up to me."
Many years later a business trip led him to San Diego, CA, where he fell in love with the area and also fell in love with his life partner. After moving there, Ted became an entertainer in the clown and production world, where he was known as Happy HoBo the Clown and TJ the Magician. He also played Santa at Christmas where he was loved by many. He loved the art of performing and was well known in the San Diego community for over 30 years.
We are saddened by his passing and he will remain in our hearts forever.
