Samuel Claiborne Pagnotta

Samuel Claiborne Pagnotta, age 63, of Escondido, California passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. He is survived by his wife Michelle, his 3 children Alex, Jakie, and Leah, his son in laws Victor Quintero, Ronnie Wright, and his beautiful grandchildren Ryder, Aubrey, Everly, Henley, and Clover.

Sam worked most of his life as a Pharmacy Tech. in Escondido and was loved by many. In 2009 his kidneys gave out due to diabieties. He underwent dialyses until 2015, then was blessed with a kidney transplant. He was thankful he was given a 2nd life to enjoy the birth of all his grandchildren. He became an Escondido Police Volunteer and got to live out a dream he always had. He was so proud to serve with the best and really loved all the wonderful volunteers he got to work with. Unfortunately, his health took him away from his volunteering, but he always held out hope he could continue once again.

A celebration of life for Samuel will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at McLeod Mortuary, 1919 E Valley Pkwy, Escondido, California 92027.
