Ralph E. Peterson

He served in the United States Army, owned a delicatessen and pizza shop in New York and founded Peterson's Donut Corner in California.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Vera of Escondido, CA; Daughters Vera Ellen (Kevin) Bruno of Hemet, CA; Maureen Perkins of Murietta, CA; Sons Ralph Jr., Michael and Stephen all of Escondido, CA. Sisters Barbara and Madeline of North Carolina; Brother Bruce of New York; 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his grandson Ryan in 2010.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel McLeod chapel Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 4 to 8pm. A rosary will be recited at 9:30am followed by a funeral mass at 10am Friday, May 13, 2011 at Resurrection Catholic Church. Burial with military honors will take place at Miramar National Cemetery at 1pm. Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria del Angel McLeod, Escondido, CA.
