Nancy Rodriguez Olivas

the age of 86. She is survived by her husband Damaso Olivas, and her children Gilda Foley,

Alfred Garcia Jr., Jaime Garcia, and Dotty Wilson. She is also survived by three

grandchildren, Michael Galan, Michelle Downs and Miranda Galan and was grandmother to

Fahren Foley who passed in 2015, great grandmother to Mila Downs and Molly Downs. She

leaves behind a wealth of love from her family and friends that were her family.

Nancy was the first born to Aurora Lopez and Manuel Rodriguez in the state of Sinaloa,

Mexico on September 28, 1938. She immigrated with her mother and brother (Alfonzo

Lopez) to the US in 1955 where she married, had her children, and soon began a career in

the drapery business. She excelled in draperies and opened her own business in 1977

under the name “Draperies by Nancy”. From this business, she was able to provide for her

family and helped countless of people in the San Diego County area. To all of us, she was a

living angel. Helping the poor and anyone in need in the way only she could.

Mcleod Mortuary 1919 E. Valley Parkway Escondido, California on

Monday, February 17 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Church services will be at the Church of The Resurrection

1445 Conway Dr, Escondido, California on Tuesday, February 18 at 11:00 am

with final resting place at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 2640 Glenridge Road Escondido, California at 1:00 pm.
