"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High, will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say unto the Lord; You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust."
Maria Angela Gonzalez Alvarez was born on June 1st 1971, and departed from us on May 17th 2022 where she went to meet with her Father Agapito, her Mother Lidia, and her stepson Fernando Jr.
Angela as she was like being called by, she received God in her heart and got baptized under the name of Jesus Christ, by the age of 17. From there she dedicated to herself to follow God with all her heart and might until the time of her departure. She dedicated herself to God and became a Sunday school teacher for a couple of years. She loved sharing stories to the children about the word of God, and also teach them the ways of God, and how they should serve God just how the Bible quotes, " With all your heart, your mind, your soul, and all your might." She also became more involved with the ministry for the women along with Pastor Efraim Valverde, wife Sister Irene Valverde and got handed a recognition for the Women's College group. As well said, she served the Lord with all her might until her death.
Angela was outlived by her husband Fernando Alvarez Sr. who was in the service and served our country, her first born Josue Alvarez along with his two children Breanna and Joel, her second child Emmanuel Alvarez who is currently in the service and serving our country, and her third child Nehemias Alvarez, who she dedicated her life for him to become the man that he is.
As a Wife, Mother, and Grandmother she dedicated her life for all of us, she prayed for every single one of us for God to protect us and bless us both spiritually and physically, for God to provide for us for whatever was necessary in our life. When she was in prayer, she would also ask and has continued asking God not just for her children and her husband, but also for her daughter-in-law, her grandchildren, and her son's in-laws, so that God could pour his blessings of abundance of joy, health, hope, happiness, and most importantly his presence and his love. She did not only stop there, she also dedicated her life to help her family in Mexico, her father and mother, and her sisters and brothers. She was a woman of prayer and a woman of faith throughout her life. She never let anything back her down from serving God and not even death itself. She served God all the way until her last breath. She knew that God had other plans for her and also for her family in which he promised her that he will be watching over and take care of them and that he also has plans for them as well.
As Angela left from this world with that confidence and security that God promised her, she left everyone with laughter, a warm smile, with those wonderful hugs and kisses she would give out to her kids and grandkids, that beautiful charismatic attitude she had for everyone, and that love that she shared to everyone and anybody that would meet her. Angela as her name suggests it, she is now like an angel watching over everyone that she had in her life, and now she will be waiting for that day of the last trumpet to be played. She will be missed and greatly loved, but she will never be gone because she will forever be in our hearts. She will always and forever be with us until our time comes to reunite with her once again, and wait along her side for God's return.
You will be loved, and always be missed.
We Love You Always and Forever.
Until we meet again, Wife, Mom, Grandma, Sister, Cousin, and Aunt.
Thank you all for coming and Thank you to Charles Ingram and the rest of the McLeod Mortuary staff for accompanying us in this remembrance and celebration of life
