THIELMAN, Robert Ernest “Bob”, 88 formerly of Union of Dayton, passed away peacefully Monday, January 18, 2016. Bob leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 65 years Donna J. (nee Tolles) Thielman, three sons and two daughters-in-law Daniel L. and Debbie Thielman of MD, Robert E. and Norma Thielman of CA, Thomas M. Thielman of Dayton, one granddaughter Stephanie and her husband Sol Dip of CA. Also surviving are his sister and brother-in-law Marguerite E. and Bob Gillespie of CA, two brothers and sisters-in-law Carl F. and Betty Thielmann of CA, Richard D. and Joan Thielmann of TX, several nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Carl F. and Mary R. (nee McClure) Thielmann. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road, Friday, January 22, 2016 starting at 10:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Bob’s life at 11:00 am with Rev. Robert Swanson II presiding. Burial will follow in Royal Memorial Gardens.
