ALAI, Joseph Sr., 71 of Dayton, passed away peacefully Friday, October 30 at home with his family at his side. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Charlotte (nee Stofko) Alai, one son Joseph Alai Jr and his fiancé Elisabeth Reeher, one daughter Jennifer Alai-Molesky and her fiancé Marcus Petrosky, three grandchildren Jeffrey and Mikayla Molesky, Aiden Petrosky, one sister and brother-in-law Dolores (Steve) Stubits. Joseph was a graduate of North Hampton Community College, was an Engineer with Copeland/Emerson Climate Technologies and a US Naval Veteran serving on the USS Independence during the Viet Nam War. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1000 West Wenger Road, Englewood, Tuesday, November 10 starting at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am with Fr. James Seibert C.PP.S. celebrant.
