Thomas M. Greer

Thomas (Mal) Greer, of Englewood, Florida died peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Tidewell Hospice. He was born on May 16, 1939 in Fillmore, New York. Mal was raised in both Tampa, Florida and Englewood, Florida, and served in the Marine Corps from 1956-1960.

Mal was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Greer and Helen (Ludwig) Greer, his sister Mary Bowen, and his brother David Greer. Surviving are his daughter Heather Adair Rullalo of Auburn, California, and his wife, Sandy Greer.

Mal loved talking to his friends and telling stories of old and fun times in Englewood. He was a member of Moose Lodge #2554, Englewood Elks, Clyde Lassen VFW Post 10178, and Amvets Post 777.

Memorial services will be held at Green Street Church, 500 S. Indiana Ave., Englewood, FL 34223 on August 5th at 11 A.M.

A celebration of his life will also be held on August 7 at 2:00 PM at the Gulf Cove Moose Lodge, 4212 N. Access Rd., Englewood, FL 34224
